February, the shortest month of the year for most people, but not for us!

Aware of the importance of foaling during the warmer months, we generally begin the breeding season in April, when our mares have well-established reproductive cycles and are receptive to the idea of producing a foal the following year. While other horse farms in Northern France use heat lamps and other artificial methods to disrupt the natural reproductive cycle, we have absolutely no intention of altering nature and simply prefer to wait for the right moment, for nature's sake, and for our mares' sake.

Thus, February is the longest month for us; it's the last month before the arrival of our newborns, which usually begins in March. We take advantage of this time to renew the equipment necessary for monitoring foalings, improve the foaling boxes, acquire necessary emergency equipment, etc., always with the aim of providing the best possible care from birth.
