An incredible breeding season at our Purebred Spanish horse farm!

As you know if you've been following us for a while, in 2025 our new stallion Niveus MAZ arrived at our stud farm. An extraordinary horse. Many qualities: character, nobility, functionality, and true aptitude for dressage. A horse that leaves no one indifferent.

2026 was therefore a first for us because that year the matings were done by hand, and not by artificial insemination. Of course, we already had experience as stallion owners, but it's a different organization, and it's obviously a different management style since we have to take care of the stallion, the mare, and also the foal, which must remain safe.

After constructing a breeding bar, we began the 2026 breeding season with our new stallion. For obvious safety reasons, we do not offer hand breeding to mares outside our stud farm. The risks are too high, both for the mares and for our stallion. Therefore, the stallion was available this season with chilled and frozen semen for mares outside our stud farm.

Let's get back to our breeding: This year, we had 11 mares to cover, 12 including our young Nebulosa VMD, a 3-year-old Purebred Spanish filly, born at our breeding farm, daughter of Tabardilla RDS and Cacique IX, Elite stallion of the Breed.

The season began at the end of March, with our beautiful 4-year-old Maravilla VMD, and ended on June 15th with Nebulosa VMD.

Of the twelve mares from the stud farm covered with Niveus, we are expecting... 12 foals!! WOW what an incredible season!! After the 2025 season which was catastrophic in Artificial Insemination with semen transported from Spain, we were finally able to breathe a sigh of relief and be happy to have had such a great season.

Niveus, a stallion who listens, is easy to handle, kind, and respectful, even when the urge was very strong ;-) A wonderful horse. An absolute favorite after several months spent with him. This horse is simply incredible!
